Things to do in Prishtina: a guide for your stay
From the boulevard and the museums to Germia Park: how to spend a day or a weekend in Kosovo's capital.

A city that is easy to explore
Prishtina is compact, young and lively. Most of the sights are within walking distance of each other in the centre, around 10 minutes by taxi from Hotel Garden.
Mother Teresa Boulevard
The pedestrian heart of the city, lined with cafés and terraces. Start here with a macchiato, then walk towards the Skanderbeg Square and the government buildings.
The National Library
One of the most photographed buildings in the Balkans, with its domes and metal lattice façade. Worth a visit even if you only see it from outside.
The Newborn monument
The famous letters, repainted every year, mark Kosovo's independence in 2008. A short walk from the boulevard.
Old town, Kosovo Museum and Great Mosque
In the old part of the city you will find the Kosovo Museum, the Clock Tower and the Great Mosque from the 15th century.
Germia Park
A large forest park on the edge of the city, with walking paths, a summer pool and restaurants. Perfect for a morning walk.
Back at the hotel
After a day in the city, unwind at Freesia Spa or enjoy dinner at Garden Open Kitchen, surrounded by green.
